Hello, I’m Yong Xin. I graduated from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. Originally from Brunei Darussalam, where I was born and raised, I am a Malaysian citizen who moved to New Zealand to pursue my tertiary education. Earlier this year, I relocated to Ashburton and am thrilled to be part of the Dentistry on Parkside team.

I enjoy all aspects of dentistry and am committed to continuously improving my skills. I believe that understanding my patients’ needs and concerns is essential for building trust and providing effective care. My goal is to create a positive dental experience that helps patients achieve their oral health goals.

In addition to English, I also speak Mandarin.

Outside of dentistry, I have a passion for travel and exploring nature. Running and hiking are my favourite ways to experience the beauty of New Zealand.
